I knew Eric + Teylor’s big day was going to be unlike any other the moment I captured the two of them at their engagement session!
When Teylor initially reached out about their big day, I had never heard of their wedding venue. After doing some research, I discovered I had never heard of it because it was not even open yet! But man alive, I could tell it was going to be jaw dropping when it was finished! Fast forward to Eric + Teylor’s engagement session– my jaw literally did DROP! Not only was I amazed at this venue, but I was living out a photographers location dream in real life. I could go on and on about Everhart Gathering Place, its owners and its staff, but I’ll save that for another day!
Despite the unpredictable Ohio weather on their big day, there was nothing but smiles all around! You could just tell it was going to be a perfect day full of happiness and laughter! What once was supposed to be an outdoor patio ceremony, quickly became an indoor, intimate ceremony due to the crazy gusts of wind. As a bride, it is slightly bumming when you have to move your outdoor wedding inside. HOWEVER, this venue was made for it! Every ceremony detail was perfect– the hexagon arch, the elegant white chairs and the gorgeous chandeliers! What a dreamy ceremony space it was!
Everhart Gathering Place really matched Teylor + Eric to a T! The grooms suite was full of jokes, brewskis and fun. If you know Eric, you know how he is just a genuine guy who cherishes the company he is with at any given moment. The bridal suite was full of giggles, oooo’s and ahhhh’s and simple, down to earth girls who were so excited for this amazing day! Teylor and her girls were calm, fun and ready for the festivities to start! I could not have hand picked a better place to capture these two amazing individuals.
The weather was testing us a tad, but we did not let that stop us from those dreamy portraits we got! We stayed in the warmth for the family and group shots, but braved the cold to venture down to the willow trees. my favorite backdrop at Everhart! Teylor threw a coat on over her dress and veil, Eric carried her train and we did their portraits in RECORD time! We are so thankful these two were down for anything!
The ceremony was so sweet, the reception was a BLAST and the laughter was contagious! How many of you can say you had breakfast food at a wedding?! I can! I also had some pretty delicious cake…I’d never miss that opportunity!
I woke up the morning of this big day just knowing it was going to be a great one! How could it not be when I get to work in a dream venue, with a dream couple and get the chance to capture the most precious moments!
